All of us at Fund A Cure for Pancreatic Cancer were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Dr. Randy Pausch today. We want to send our condolences to Randy's family and thank him for the remarkable work he has done in such a short time to educate the world about pancreatic cancer and the dearth of funding provided by the United States government to help find a cure to this deadliest of cancers.
He has truly been an inspiration to each of us and his loss so close to that of my father's touches me very deeply. My sister and I would often compare Randy's health updates on his blog, to our own father's progress as they were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer only months apart and both were lucky enough to have a surgical resection of the original tumor. Our hearts go out to his wife, children, family and friends. Take solace in knowing that he will be missed by many and his actions and words have and will continue to inspire countless number of people across the world.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Ciervo, Ph.D., Founder and Chairman Fund A Cure for Pancreatic Cancer 12 Kuhars Way Newtown, PA 18940 215-932-3200
